James Chase has skydived from 13,000 feet, SCUBA dived in 12 knots of current, crossed the Pacific in a 43’ sail boat enduring days of sustained 50mph winds and 40 foot waves, survived mortar attacks in Nicaragua, traveled to all but 3 of the world's Spanish speaking countries, completely disassembled and reassembled a Volkswagen engine in a truck stop parking lot, survived numerous concussions (with and without helmets), fractures, stitchings, and unfortunate haircuts – but counts this experience with SSBx as the most challenging and rewarding of all.

He oversees how we interface with the public at all levels, from live speaking engagements to the press, TV, web, posters, banners, flyers and photography.

Prior to this position, he worked in New York City’s cable TV and advertising industries as a cameraman, production designer, editor, and director.  A graduate of Hampshire College, he is fluent in Spanish, speaks OK French, and loves to cook.
