Currently the City of New York is attempting to site jails in the South Bronx.

Sustainable South Bronx has proposed a clean-tech industrial development that will

use barge and rail to take trucks off the streets - cleaning the air; produce jobs;

and reduce our contribution to the global climate crisis by using renewable energy.
